Client Relationship
The EU supported a program for public service employees' development for five years. I was responsible for strengthening the ethical and customer-oriented behaviour and improving their relationship with customers.
First, I joined a train-the-trainer course to get to know their needs. Then I contacted the government agencies to know what their special requests are. This way I could specify my own courses and develop the proper courseware. After the training, they could consult with me about their client relation cases. I was part of this program for five years.
Workplace and Intercultural Conflict Handling
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has a training process for the newly appointed diplomats to be prepared for the requirements. In this process, I got the task from the training organisation of the ministry to design a training program and conduct conflict management courses for the diplomats.
In order to accomplish this task, I interviewed the ministry's staff, such as rapporteur, foreign trade attaché, head of the department, consul, about the needs and the real situations. Based on these, I developed a specific training program for the work in an international environment.
Its main modules were the intercultural shock and treatment, the Riemann-Thomann personality types and their conflict management methods, the Glasl conflict types, the steps of deepening a conflict and the tools on how to avoid the escalation of conflicts. The training was regularly held at least once each month for 3 years. I wrote a textbook for the diplomats in this program as well.
